Office manager Edwina Flynn explains: “In October 2016, we were offered the opportunity to be assessed using a new IIP Generation 6 standard, as part of a pilot programme. We felt it was a great opportunity to develop as Generation 6 focuses on achieving high performance and ‘best in class’ HR practices.

“The process helped us to further improve our standards, highlighting some new areas for us to develop, support and motivate our staff to provide the highest standards - so it was a very positive experience.”

Eddie Salmon, Investors in People Practitioner Manager for IIP says: “Best Property Services is the first in its sector across the Island of Ireland to be assessed using the Developed framework and is leading the way for other small business to follow and benefit from this process.

The company successfully met all the requirements of the framework and were accredited using the sixth Gen Investors in People Developed Framework.”

The report stated that the company was found to have ‘a culture which promotes innovation, staff development and demonstrates a willingness to communicate and involve at all levels.’
