The annual Confederation of Community Groups Patricia Graham ‘Shining Light’ Community Volunteering Awards for 2017 have been launched today in Newry Credit Union.

Speaking at the launch Mr. Brendan Jackson Manager of Newry Credit Union said: “Newry Credit Union is delighted to act as the main sponsor of the Confederation of Community Groups ‘Shining Light’ Community Volunteering Awards. As local people are aware the Credit Union began over 50 years ago from a spirit of voluntary self-help and it is reassuring to see that same ethos is still alive and well in our local area.”
