Under 11 Blitz
Some of our Under 11 hurlers participated in the Under 11 Blitz at the Dundalk Institute Of Technology (DKIT) on Sunday just past. Twenty clubs from across five counties have committed to take part in the Under 11 Hurling Blitz Programme.
Míle buíochas to all who helped with ensuring our young hurlers had an enjoyable sporting mornings games.
Under 9 Hurling Blitz
Dundalk Institute Of Technology also hosted the first Under 9 Hurling Blitz for the year last Sunday. Our young hurlers found the whole mornings playing and coaching enjoyable and beneficial. Míle buíochas to all who organised the event and those from our own Club who helped with transport and practical support,

Underage Coaching
Training for Under 14 and 16s has resumed on Thursday nights in St Pauls Highschool from 6:30 to 8pm. All information will be conveyed through management
Our Underage Coaching Schedule Arrangements are as follows
Monday night in St. Paul’s High School Green Road Bessbrook for all primary school ages Primary 1 - 7.
6:30-7:30pm
Rua Ógs (Primary 1 & 2) - In Assembly Hall
Under 8 1/2 - (Primary 3 & 4) in Gymnasium Hall
Under 10 1/2 - (Primary 5 & 6) in Sports Hall
Under 11 1/2 (Primary 7) in Sports Hall
Teams will also be notified through text lists and parents / guardians are asked to also keep an eye on our Facebook and Twitter accounts for further details.

Registration Nights
Our annual Club Registration Evenings will take place on Wednesday the 30th Of January and Wednesday 6th Of February. Both evenings the Registration events begin at 7:30pm. We will have a short meeting for new and existing members. All are welcome to become members of the Craobh Rua Hurling Club.
Senior Hurling
Pre season training this coming Tuesday night 8:15pm at the clubhouse.
The Armagh Hurling League has returned and will be played on Tuesday nights. Craobh Rua will be in the Junior section with Kileavy, Sean Treacys & Omagh. Games to be played on a home and away basis.
Ryan Lundy had been appointed as the Senior Team Player Representative for 2019.
St Colman’s Loose Out in Final
Commiserations to Niall Elshaw and the St Colmans team which lost to Portaferry in the Leopold Cup Final on a 3-5 to 1-5 score line.
Safeguarding Policy
As per our Club & Association rules all Safeguarding must be completed by the 30th Of January. Patricia Nutley is the Club contact person for any queries in relation to the procedure.
Armagh GAA club draw 2019
The club draw tickets are now available. 4 monthly draws, over 100 prizes, total prize fund over £90,000. First draw march 2019. Price £100 .Any member who wishes to purchase a ticket should contact a Committee member. £80 of every ticket sold (after minimum sales target reached) goes directly to the Club.
