Former Camlough resident Dylan Galloghly has launched his debut album, Ozone Parade.

Irish-Australian electronica artist Parnell March aka Dylan has now settled in Perth, West Australia and has been making inroads in the electronic music scene since 2014.

Led by the pulsating lead single Therapy, Ozone Parade consists of forty-three minutes of interwoven eclectic electronic warmth and goodness. Reminiscent of EDM albums from the 90s, ethereal and meditative tracks evoking Sigur Ros and Boards of Canada easily transition through lush mid-tempo beats to four to the floor house numbers and Underworld-esque techno. Contemporary artists such as M83 and Nils Frahm are evident underlying influences for this album.

Ozone Parade

The lead single Therapy has been released to wide acclaim in Australia and Ireland and was featured by Hot Press, The Thin Air and other music media outlets. It was recently listed for the Northern Ireland Music Prize Best Single 2021. It is also accompanied by a wonderfully bizarre and thought-provoking music video that parodies a young boy's journey through therapy.

Likewise, the full album Ozone Parade has been getting plenty of air time across Ireland and Australia including being album of the week for Dan Hegarty's Alternative music show on 2FM as well as West Australia's premier music radio station RTRFM. It also recently hit No.6 in the American College Radio Electronic Music Chart.

Reviews

'Parnell March is making music straight from outer space' (Happy Mag)
'Across four-and-a-half minutes concocts a subtly propulsive vocoder-heavy gem' (The Thin Air)

'Gently coasting in from outer space is 'Ozone Parade' - the debut full length release from the local producer. The Irish-Australian presents 10 tracks that are full of depth, variety and exciting twists and turns - much more than hour of 'bootz-n-catz-n-bootz-n-catz.' Blissful pads coast across a sonic horizon of ambience that gives way to percussive electro, hands-in-the air house the straight from 1996 and gentler, neo-classical piano pieces that seamlessly tie club ready elements into a home listening environment. The summation of a string successful singles and EPs 'Ozone Parade' has something for everyone - both hardcore ravers and chilled out homebodies will find something to relish.' (RTRFM)
