A Festival based in County Louth that celebrates Yoga, Movement and The Healing Arts is going online for the first time.

There will be three days of Yoga & Seminars from 1-3 August with over 30 renowned presenters from all over the world featuring online interactive live events and exclusive video streaming from the idyllic setting of Townley Hall, Co Louth

Yoga has emerged as a force for unity which goes beyond race, gender, faith and nations and, for many, it has come to the rescue in keeping the body fit and mind serene amid the stress and anxiety of the Covid-19 pandemic.  On August 1st – 3rd 2020, the Celtic Woodland Yoga Festival will attract over 20,000 yogis from all over the world, but this year due to Covid-19 restrictions, the event will be virtual. World-renowned presenters and teachers, Irish and International, will present this unique and special event which will be FREE to people with a shared love of yoga practice & lifestyle, artistic expression, and the natural world.

Festival founder, renowned yoga teacher and award-winning film maker Cathy Pearson has carefully and lovingly curated this event and gathered a great diversity of teachers deeply immersed in their chosen field. World class teachers like David Williams from Hawaii, Randall O Leary from the USA and Thailand, Sofia Araujo and Sebastian Bruno from Portugal, Peter Clifford from Australia and our own Michael Ryan (yoga teacher to President Michael D Higgins) will join teachers from Holland, Australia, Portugal, Austria, India, Hawaii, Mexico, Spain, Canada and Ireland to bring a global unity and togetherness to the festival.

Over 3 days on the edge of Ireland’s most mythically rich valley, Brú na Bóinne, Townley Hall in County Louth will be the virtual venue for the Celtic Woodland Yoga Festival. This unique and immersive experience of yoga, Celtic wisdom, healing arts and nature is for anyone with an interest in practicing yoga with international eminent teachers but this year, people can join the festival from the comfort of their own home.  There are classes to suit every level of participant, from beginner to the seasoned yogi.

Yoga is the main feature of the Celtic Woodland Yoga Festival, with a huge variety of teachings to explore from senior yoga teachers with decades of experience leading transformative yoga practices.  There will be many classes, lectures, and presentations to choose from throughout each day, with a wide variety of yoga styles to choose from including Ashtanga Kundalini, Vinyasa, Iyengar, Hatha and many others. There will also be meditation classes, seminars and discussions about topics including personal growth and the way we live and connect in the natural world.

This unique and special event is now open for registration and pre-registration is free at
