OTHELLO by William Shakespeare Presented by The Bright Umbrella Drama Co.

“Driven by jealousy, ambition and pure malice, the evil Ensign Iago poisons the mind of General Othello with innuendo concerning his wife Desdemona in Shakespeare's timeless tale of racism, domestic violence, jealousy, lust and revenge.

BUDCo presents a colourful, fast paced production in a modern military setting shot through with humour, pathos and tragedy. The play has much to say to modern audiences in an era of the pursuit of women’s' rights, the 'Me Too' movement and the challenges posed by racism and a fear of 'otherness'. This production is abridged and lasts around 1 hour, 40 minutes

Brilliant show not to be missed!
