The Decade of Commemorations:  Book Launch

Liam Cahill, historian, writer and former political and economics correspondent with RTÉ is launching his latest book Forgotten Revolution: The Limerick Soviet 1919 in Newry City Library on Thursday 28 November at 6:30pm. 

Liam has researched and studied the Limerick Soviet for many years and has written, lectured and broadcast on it extensively.

During this event Liam will give an overview of his new book exploring the ordinary people of Limerick City who protested against the imposition of military law in 1919.

This is a free event which will appeal to everyone especially those with an interest in history.
