Beidh an chéad imeacht eile den tsraith ‘Cothú na Léitheoireachta’ de chuid Ghradaim an Iúir ar siúl ag deireadh na míosa seo. Is scríbhneoir clúiteach cumasach é Eoghan Mac Giolla Bhríde agus beidh sé linn i nGaeláras Mhic Ardghail Déardaoin an 27ú Feabhra ar a 7 i.n. chun a chuid saothair a phlé le muintir an cheantair. Molaim go mór freastail ar seo, bhí dhá oíche iontacha againn sa tsraith go dtí seo agus thaitin sé le daoine aithne níos fearr a chur ar na scríbhneoirí Réaltán Ní Leannáin agus Máire Dinny Wren.

Thíos, is féidir beatháisnéis Eoghain a léamh, chomh maith le nasc chuig an teideal is déanaí dá chuid, “Cnámh”, agus beidh deis ag daoine cóipeanna síníthe a cheannach ar an oíche.

As Gaoth Dobhair i dTír Chonaill d’Eoghan Mac Giolla Bhríde. Is scríbhneoir gearrscéalta agus scripte é. Foilsíodh an tríú bailiúchán gearrscéalta leis, dár teideal “Cnámh”, i mbliana. Bhuaigh an cnuasach sin duais an tSaothair Próis i gComórtas Litríochta an Oireachtais, 2018.

Bhí Eoghan mar chomhscríbhneoir ar na scannáin Song of Granite (2017) agus Silence (2012) agus bhí an phríomhpháirt aige sa scannán Silence, chomh maith. D’fhoilsigh Coiscéim a chéad chnuasach gearrscéalta, Idir Feoil is Leathar, in 2002, agus a dhara chnuasach, Díbeartaigh, in 2005. D’aistrigh sé an leabhar Le Petit Prince (An Prionsa Beag) ón Fhraincis in 2015.

Bhí sé mar eagarthóir ar leagan úr den leabhar Cáitheadh na dTonn le Muirghein agus ar an bhailiúchán tomhasanna Tomhas Orm, Tomhas Ort!  Rinne Eoghan aistriúchán Gaeilge ar an leabhar clasaiceach An Prionsa Beag (Le Petit Prince) in 2015. Tá sé ina stiúrthóir ar an chomhlacht foilseacháin, Éabhlóid, a bunaíodh in 2008.
