Tickets are now on sale for the Social Event of the Year...the 49th Annual Southern Area Hospice Gala Ball.

The evening will commence with a glittering drinks reception, followed by a sumptuous gala dinner, a live auction with an array of must have items on offer and a fabulous raffle.  On the night, guests will be treated to a drinks reception on arrival sponsored by Younique Aesthetics Clinic whilst being entertained with live music by John Cosgrove in the foyer, with after dinner music by the ‘The Nooks’ to dance the night away.

The headline sponsor for this year’s event is QME Mining Equipment Ltd, Peter McParland Managing Director QME said “I would like to take the opportunity to thank the team at the Southern Area Hospice for all the work they do and congratulate the Dance Committee on their 49th Gala Ball.  This is such a wonderful event and a great way to raise funds for a very worthy cause.  I’m sure the night will be a great success!”

Not only will this event be the perfect opportunity for people to get dressed up for a great night out...guests will also be helping to raise vital funds for their local Hospice.  Together, and with your support at this annual event, the Hospice can to continue to help those who need it.

“We are excited to present our 49th Annual Gala Ball and we hope everyone supports the event by purchasing your tickets early as this is sure to be another sell-out this year” said Geraldine Loughran, Chairperson of the Hospice Dance Committee, “The Committee would like to thank QME for their generous sponsorship this year and look forward to working with their team.  We would also like to thank all the local businesses who are donating prizes to our raffle and auction and giving of their time.  It is always a very special evening and is wonderful to see the tremendous support for the Hospice from our local community!”

Tickets are priced at £60pp and all proceeds from the event will go to Southern Area Hospice Services to continue providing much needed care in our local area.

If you cannot attend the event, you can still have the chance to enter our patron’s raffle, where our volunteers will be selling raffle tickets priced at £1 each in Mulkerns Eurospar on 1st and 2nd February and The Quays Shopping Centre, Buttercrane Shopping Centre and Eurospar Warrenpoint from Thursday 7th to Saturday 9th February.
