Larkin's Bar, Forkhill will be the venue on Friday, 12th April for a massive trad session to raise money for the Fight-for-Alfie charity. It's been organised by local musician Local Martha Guiney.

Alfie is a 6 year old local child who suffers from Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. His parents have been fighting to save their child’s life by bringing him to America for pioneering treatment, as to date the disease is incurable and terminal. Alfie's symptoms include only being able to walk on his toes, and being in constant pain due to cramping.

Tunes will kick off at 8pm!

There will be a fantastic line up of musicians on the night. Donations on the night are entirely up to yourself, but we would like to recommend £5 or £10. There will also be a great selection of prizes on the night, including a hamper and lite bites very generously donated by Larkin's. If anyone would like to donate any raffle prizes for the night, it would be really appreciated. At times like these, it's so moving to see such a community spirit for this brave little boy. Bring your instrument or just yourself and come along for what will be a great evening of music. Your support would be more than appreciated!
