Concert of Sacred Music composed by John Rutter

A Concert of Sacred Music by the popular and highly successful contemporary composer John  Rutter will be performed in Newry Cathedral on Sunday 26th May by combined choirs and local musicians.

 Newry Community Choir, Abbey Grammar School Boys Choir and Newry Cathedral Vigil Choir have been brought together under the direction of their choirmaster, Dominic Wadsworth and accompanied by Caroline Keenan.

They will perform a variety of Rutter’s famous motets and conclude with a full performance of his Requiem ably assisted by young musicians and friends in the orchestra, all helping to create a memorable and inspiring evening of up-lifting music.
