Follow the SS Connemara & SS Retriever Heritage Trail around the northern and southern shores of Carlingford Lough crossing on the Carlingford Lough Scenic Ferry departing from Chapel Street Car Park, Newry (opposite Gaeláras Mhic Ardghail at 11 am).

Bilingual commentary in Irish and English by Séamas Mac Dháibhéid (Craobh an Iúir de Chonradh na Gaeilge) and James Mc Arevey (Newry Maritime Association). Complementary lunch en route. Return time approx.. 4.45 pm

*This is a free event which tells the story of the worst maritime tragedy to impact the Carlingford area since famine times. Early booking is advised as places are limited.
