Head Injury Support are delighted to announce their second charity cycle event. The South Down Coastal Tour will take place on Sunday 8th September 2019. It will be commencing from Newry Leisure Centre, Cecil Street. Sign on commences at 8.30am and we will be rolling out at 9.30am.

The route is 55 miles and is via Hilltown, Newcastle, Kilkeel and Rostrevor. The route can be found at: WWW.STRAVA.COM/ROUTES/14550402

Entry fee: £20 via by 6th September 2019 or £20 on the day. Cycling Ireland one day licenses are also available at a cost of £5.

There will be a water/snack stop during the cycle and hot food at the end of the cycle.

This event is not a race! Roads are not closed. Participants must obey the Highway Code and all road signs and traffic lights. Stop at all junctions. Cycle no more than 2 abreast and single file if there is a queue of traffic behind. Warn other cyclists of approaching hazards. Be polite and courteous at all times.

As we are a small local charity this is one of our major fundraising events and we really want to make it a huge success in order to raise vital funds for the charity.
