Community worker John McCabe from Drumgullion Avenue stated "Today's function follows on the back of our successful Halloween stall and part of an ongoing community development programme. It has been a difficult year for all of us during the Covid-19 crisis and it has been very difficult for our group because we are a non funded group and rely totally on public donations.

"We look forward to the relaxing of numbers in relation to public assembly when we can call a public meeting to get constituted and elect a management committee to run a Community Association."

Mr McCabe thanked all the kind people who donated sweets, crisps and drinks and he thanked those in attendance for adhering to stewards instructions and last but not least Santa for dropping by.
