The Meadow and Armagh Road Community Association have installed a Serenity/ Memory Bench at their Community Centre. The bench was dedicated yesterday afternoon, 15 August and guests enjoyed music from Choir Studio with refreshments served afterwards.

The bench installed outside the Meadow and Armagh Road Community Centre will remember family, friends and neighbours from the community who have passed away.

Thanking those who attended and helped out Helena Young from Meadow and Armagh Road Community Association said "It was a lovely occasion, we want to thank the wonderful Choir Studio, you made the event so special for us. We want to thank Jo-Ann Turley for providing the beautiful sandwiches, scones and amazing cupcakes and tray bakes. Thanks to Brian O'Connor for providing the PA system. A very special thanks to Fr. Conor McConville who joined us from Lurgan, Conor is an honorary Meadow/Armagh Road man, it was wonderful to have him with us today. And thank you to our community, we live among great friends and neighbours"
