Newry, Mourne and Down Council are holding a public consultation on the Newry City Centre Regeneration proposals and residents are being asked for their views.

The proposals include the Albert Basin park, a theatre/ conference facility, public realm works, a riverside square on Ross Thompson site, civic centre/ council offices, a public square at Abbey Way and funding to encourage private sector office space and hotel accommodation.
Because a consultation has previously been carried out on the Albert Basin park part, it doesn't really feature although the online survey has a space where you can add your comments about that part of the project.
The Newry City Centre Regeneration Outline Business Case Public Consultation comprises of the online survey and a series of workshops open to the public.
To complete the Online Survey go to WWW.SURVEYMONKEY.CO.UK
The survey opened Monday 8 March 2021 at 12noon and will close on Monday 31 May 2021 at 12noon.
