Senior

Our senior hurling team completed their programme of games last weekend. It has been a roller coaster type of season for this team under the guidance of manager Brian Murphy. There is huge potential for this young group of hurlers and hopefully they will stay together to see that potential realised.

Milé buíochas to Brian for his wisdom, experience, skills, commitment and passion. It rubbed off on many, not just our players but many involved within the Craobh Rua Club. We also would like to thank all back room staff, players  and all others involved with our senior hurling team for their efforts.

Gaelic Sunday Celebrated

Gaelic Sunday 4th August 1918 will be remembered as one of the most remarkable and significant days in the history of the GAA. Known as Gaelic Sunday – it was a day when the clubs of the GAA stood against the British Empire and triumphed in a peaceful protest. Craobh Rua hurling club like hundreds of Clubs throughout Ireland commemorated and celebrated the centenary of that historic day.
