Over £4000 pounds has been raised by the Quinn Family from Killeavy who hosted the 'Townlands Challenge'  in September.

The event in memory of former Gael, Conor Quinn was held for the third consecutive year.

The 7 aside tournament involves teams from neighbouring Townlands of Cloughoge, Newtowncloughoge, Lower Newtown/Cloughoge Mountain, Killean, Fathom/Clontigora, Ayallogue/Tamnaghbane/Seafin/Carn, Carrivemaclone, Dublin Road, Meigh, Low Rd/Faughil, Shane O Neills and the Quinn Family.

Family members presented PIPS Hope and Support with an astonishing cheque for £4,122.00 and €525.00. 

 On completion of this years event the family has now donated an unbelievable £18,154.00 and €525.00 for PIPS Hope and Support. 

A PIPS Hope and Support spokesperson added "PIPS Hope and Support extend heartfelt thanks and gratitude to the Quinn family and Killeavy GAC for their generous donation and continued support to our charity.

 "Extended thanks and gratitude to all those who attended, donated and supported the family, club and event in any way."
