Killeavy GAA have announced that one of their senior players has tested positive for Covid-19

A spokesperson made the announcement on the club's Facebook page. They said "I have been in contact with our Covid positive player and he has informed me that Public Health have already carried out tests on his close contacts. The results of these tests should be known tomorrow and unless we have any more positives affecting members then activities should return to normal immediately with the exception of the single team affected (Men's Senior 2nds)."

A fixture tomorrow evening with the senior (1sts) team against Granemore remains on at present.

Another County Down team Longstone GAA also announced a player testing positive today.

GAA games re-commenced locally last weekend though without an audience. From tomorrow spectators will once again be able to attend outdoor competitive games with numbers determined by the venue in line with public health advice;
