Senior Men

Our senior men were in championship action away to Eire Óg on Sunday evening but at the time of going to press the result was unknown.

Senior Ladies

Following the defeat of Armagh Senior Ladies on Saturday our own senior ladies are scheduled to play at home next Saturday evening against Lisummon at 7.00pm. However, the date and time of this fixture clashes with our senior men’s championship game at home to Grange. At the time of going to press there has been no resolution to the issue so please keep an eye on social media over the coming days for updates.

U16 Girls

Despite putting in a decent performance last Monday night at home to Silverbridge our U16 girls came out on the wrong side of the result.

U14 Boys

Our U14 boy’s amalgamation of Patrick Rankins maintained their winning form with an excellent win away to Dromintee last Tuesday evening, 5 – 12 to 1 – 5.

The Rankins led by two points early on courtesy of points from Caolan O’Hare and Ruairi O’Brien but two in a row from Dromintee had them level. However, the Rankins dominated the remainder of the opening half, scoring a further 2 – 6 without reply to take a comprehensive lead into the break with the scores coming from Ethan Campbell (1 - 0), Michael McNally (1 – 0), Ruairi O’Brien (0 – 2), Adam Canavan (0 – 2), Daragh McNulty (0 – 1) and Conor Magennis (0 – 1).

Dromintee got the opening point of the second-half but the Rankins continued to boss proceedings and registered further scores through Ethan Campbell (2 – 1), Jamie McAnulty (1 – 0), Ruairi O’Brien (0 – 2) and Adam Canavan (0 – 1). Dromintee scored 1 – 2 in closing stages of the game but by that stage the Rankins had secured the win.

U14 Girls

Our U14 girls have a league game on Monday evening at home to Middletown.

U12 Girls

Our U12 girls are at home to Clan na Gael on Thursday evening in the quarter-final of the championship.

Congratulations to our senior footballer Damian Doyle and his wife Shauneen on the birth of their beautiful baby boy Oisin. Congratulations also to our former senior footballer Kieran Murphy and his new wife Sinead who tied the knot at the weekend.

Tidy Club Grounds

Whilst it is great to see everyone spending the long evenings enjoying our club facilities, we would ask that people use the numerous bins dotted around the club to dispose of their rubbish. We want to keep our grounds clean, safe and tidy for all and would greatly appreciate everyone’s cooperation with this.

Last week’s winning lotto numbers were 1, 3, 19 & 21. There were no jackpot winners and 1 x match three winner. The lotto jackpot now stands at an impressive £4,200.
