Shane’s Girls Gaelic

Next Saturday, 14th March, sees our Shane’s Girls Gaelic programme commence at the club from 10.00am - 11.15am.

Shane’s Girls Gaelic is essentially for girls between the ages of 8 and 13 years, who have never played the sport before or who ar not a member of a club. It will take place over a 5 week period where the girls are introduced not only to a new sport and skill set, but more importantly at this age, new friends and potential team-mates in a safe, fun and friendly environment.

Each week several experienced coaches, some of whom are currently playing senior ladies football with Shane O’Neill’s and Armagh, will take the training sessions. The cost is £25 for the 5-week programme which covers 5 sessions, a Shane’s Girls Gaelic top and a certificate on completion. Girls can register on the first morning of the programme. Water, juice, fruit and snacks will also be provided each week inside the clubhouse afterwards while the girls relax and enjoy some music and chat. The programme will conclude with a 3-day Easter Gaelic Camp on April 15th, 16th & 17th.
