Nineteen year old Chloe Copas is originally from Dundalk and when in Newry played in Sheridan Stage School’s Bugsy Malone and the Bosco Drama Groups production of Footloose.

Chloe moved to Newcastle Upon Tyne two years ago to study musical theatre and is currently in the final year of a Foundation Degree.

Commenting on her offer Chloe said “I have always loved Musical Theatre from a very young age and  have been a member of a local Musical Society since I was 4 years old. Since then I knew I  wanted to study Musical Theatre.

“I am currently studying Musical Theatre at Newcastle College and have been given a once in a lifetime opportunity of an offer from the American Musical Theatre Academy of London on their two year course. As it is a private school and non government funded the course fees are £11,000 per year making a total of £22,000.

“It is a school that I have grown to love after auditioning there and it is somewhere I could see myself going. It is the next step in my career and a step towards making my dream come true.”

Chloe will be hosting fundraisers in both Newcastle Upon Tyne and back home in Ireland including a Musical Evening and a Strictly Come Dancing event in the next few months.
