The Quays will host photographs from the The Ring of Gullion Photography Competition next week.

The Ring of Gullion held their annual Competition with the theme of “Our Heritage”. The entries included photographs of the great buildings, historical sites in the area and photos of the outstanding wildlife. There were over 35 entries and the photographs will be on display all week.

Councillor Mayor Michael Ruane , Brendan McSherry, Mournes Cooley Gullion Geotourim Steering Group Member, and professional local photographer Enda Flynn had a very difficult job selecting the best photograph. Therese Hamill, Ring of Gullion Officer said, “Many thanks to everyone who took part. The six winning pictures perfectly reflect this year’s theme; “Our Heritage” in the Ring of Gullion.”

Councillor Mayor Michael Ruane would like to invite everyone along to the Quays Shopping Centre to this year’s exhibition.

The exhibition will be launched on Monday 11th November and will run until Friday 15th November.
